🍂 Fall Harvest Update🍂
Hi everyone!
We hope you're enjoying the vibrant colors and crisp air of the fall season as much as we are! It's been an exciting time for us here at the farm, and we're thrilled to share our latest updates with you.
Tomatoes, tomatoes, and more tomatoes! This year, we've found ourselves absolutely drowning in tomatoes, and we've been hard at work preserving and canning them to ensure we have plenty to enjoy throughout the winter. We're excited to announce that Forage Kitchen will be featuring our tomatoes in their delicious tomato bisque, so be sure to stop by and savor the flavor of our homegrown produce.
Our dedicated crew has been tirelessly processing and preserving our abundant tomato harvest, and let's just say, we've all become intimately familiar with the sight, smell, and taste of tomatoes! Despite the tomato overload, we're proud of the hard work that's gone into preparing these juicy gems for the colder months ahead.
As we bid adieu to the tomato season, we're now transitioning into the world of squash. Last week, we harvested a whopping 2100 pounds of butternut squash! You can look forward to tasting our fresh squash at Forage Kitchen, where they'll be featuring it in delectable butternut squash soup, as well as in kale salads with our flavorful beets and other delicious greens.
We've also been busy whipping up soups, sauces, and preserves with our bountiful tomato harvest, ensuring that the flavors of summer will linger on our plates during the fall and winter months.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and for supporting local, sustainable agriculture. We're looking forward to sharing more exciting updates with you soon!
Warm regards,
Flynn Creek Farm
